Great place, we love it.

3rd time here. The location is excellent, the staff are lovely. It is a very welcoming hotel.

The pool was very dirty. We did not want to go in it. The irregularity of the pool bar opening hours was strange.

The room, while slightly dated in style, was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was a great addition to the experience. Perfect location as a stopover on a bike tour

Great location and views. Friendly staff. Somewhere safe to look up the bikes. Room was basic but very clean. Good air con and comfy bed. Bathroom pleasant enough Great breakfast

If I’m being picky it’s a little dated but that didn’t detract from everything that was good about it

Staff excellent, stunning views and good food. Great value for money

Very quiet and relaxing. Great location, this hotel is truly beach front. Hotel clean, pool clean. Staff helpful. Nice, comfortable seating area with sea views also a separate play area. Pool area has direct access to beach front. Shaded parking located at the hotel.

Poolside cafe not open as October is out of season and it's a fair walk to the hotel bar for a drink and snack. As a hotel guest it would be nice if parking was included free.

Good Stay

I first stayed at Hotel Vistamar in 2017, so this was my second stay on HB basis. The location is nice practically on the beach, room was of a good size and had a decent side sea view. Breakfast and dinner buffets quality wasn't anything out this world, but they were acceptable, especially considering the price paid. You cannot pay the price of a Toyota and expect a Ferrari. Interactions with the front desk were always nice and friendly so with the other hotel staff.

I believe that this time around I visited this location way too late after the busy summer period. Especially in the evening the place was completely dead, no one around, nowhere to go. The hotel per se is very 'old', I believe the furniture and decor are more than 30 years old. The property needs a fresh revamp.

A relaxing, pleasant stay in a hotel which has character!

We really enjoy visiting this hotel with its traditional charm and wonderful location. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a small fridge which is handy for keeping water and drinks cool. The views are exceptional from the front sea view rooms! Breakfast is plentiful with a good choice. Staff are friendly and helpful. It has a good restaurant (love their pizza and mejillones marinera) but it’s is also near the restaurants at the marina and market on a Sunday. It has parking (paid) which is useful, particularly because street parking and car parks are metered during high season. It’s just across from the beach and beside the seafront promenade. It also has its own pool and sunbathing area with loungers though they don’t provide pool towels. This was our third visit and hopefully we’ll be back.

I had difficulty accessing their Wi-Fi but that was possibly me!

It was in a beautiful location we have been coming to that beach for years and always wanted to stay there for a holiday. Staff were amazing, really friendly and always happy to help. Restaurant was lovely and the pizzas are by far the best.

The apartment was very big loads of room however due to the rain the ceiling in the kitchen and the living area was leaking quite badly especially in the kitchen as it was over a light which can be dangerous especially when you have children in there. We did let them know but apparently they were already aware. The one issue was that we did have to rent a kettle which in a self catering apartment should already come with the room and other appliances. Apartment is quite dated and does need some tlc and updating a little as it is in a beautiful stunning place and the view was amazing, could have say there all day and watched the world go by. Parking, Charging €12 per day for people staying at the hotel in my opinion is a little wrong. If you are paying so much for a room you should expect to be able to park for free or at a discounted price.

The only issue was that the balcony door didn’t lock but other than that I loved the location and the breakfast was fantastic.

Lovely beachfront hotel with amazing view from balcony

Really clean, amazing staff and so close to the beach. Beautiful views from the balcony. Breakfast was good. Live music in outdoor bar next door was an added bonus. Overall would definitely recommend for price. Also the local market only a few feet away on a Sunday was great.

Nothing to do with the actual hotel but just be aware location is a lovely local Spanish town so not much English speaking and there is no typical strip with bars restaurants or shops incase that's what your looking for. But a beautiful town all the same.

Location, location, location...

Amazing beach front location, friendly staff, huge buffet breakfast and large comfortable room with big balcony. You can't go wrong.

Due for a renovation sometime but gives it some character too and would inevitably become more expensive.

A comfortable stay at a very good price

Price-quality ratio excellent, location is also excellent, huge, comfortable and very clean apartment. The beach in front is really nice.

The swimming pool area are could have been nicer.

Good beach location, good staff

Very close to the beach; the staff was nice too.

The buffet not much variety of food, I think lunch food is better than dinners and breakfast. I think is because the hotel is not very big. The coffee in the cafeteria- pizzeria of the hotel is better. Pizzas are ok.

Wonderful

Rooms were quite spacious, they were clean and comfortable, they were equipped with mini fridge and there was a balcony overlooking the coast and the beach. Breakfasts were really good and the stuff was kind and welcoming. Overall really good ratio: price-quality

Place by the sea

Location was great, food was good, staff were friendly. Nice sea views. A small fridge was useful. Although room was a little dated it was clean and appeared to be freshly painted. Paid extra for room with sea view, the room was for 3 adults (3 single beds)

Room for 3 adults, only 2 chairs on balcony, when I requested an additional chair I was told no, only 2 per room. It would of been nice to sit and relax on the balcony with a glass of wine at the end of the evening. A simple request.

This is a gem of a hotel, right on the sea front, which is a pleasure to stay in.

It’s a lovely traditionally Spanish hotel. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed but without frills ie. kettle,tea,coffee, water etc. There was a fridge, probably an empty minibar, in the room which could be useful. We had a front sea view room and the views were stunning! We could hear the waves crashing onto the beach at night which we loved. The restaurant and bar area are authentically Spanish and there’s a very pleasant lounge area. The restaurant has lots of tables and copes well at busy periods. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. They have their own pizza oven and full marks to the man who makes the pizzas - they were delicious. The staff are very friendly and efficient and are a credit to the hotel. There’s paid, shaded parking at the hotel which is useful, particularly in high season when you have to pay for on street parking.
